Today I once again proudly recognise the wonderful work happening in Busby Public School, especially the community hub who support local families to strengthen connections across the school community. Initiatives like the Koha Kindness Market have created a welcoming space where families can access essential items with dignity, thanks to the generosity of those who donate and contribute, with donations stretching from clothing to a whole range of other goods. It is a powerful example of community supporting one another. The Parent Cafe continues to grow as a relaxed and inclusive space where parents can connect, share experiences and stay informed about local opportunities, helping to build strong relationships within the school. It is also fantastic to see the community hub hosting OzHarvest's NEST program, equipping families with practical skills in healthy cooking, budgeting and nutrition. I also congratulate the school community on taking the important step of establishing a P&C, creating even more opportunities for parents to be involved and have their voices heard. I thank the school community for its ongoing care and commitment to Busby families.
