Hafsa Faizan

I rise to recognise the outstanding achievements of Hafsa Faizan, a young leader whose work is already making a meaningful impact. At just 13, Hafsa was selected as a TEDx speaker, delivering a forward looking talk on the role of artificial intelligence in education. Her ideas challenged early hesitation and helped shift thinking about how technology can support inclusive learning. Her talk is now published on the official TED website, reflecting her commitment to expanding opportunities for all students. Hafsa's leadership extends to environmental advocacy through her long term involvement in her school robotics team, including a campaign against bilge dumping and the co creation of a children's book on ocean pollution. She has also presented her ideas inside NSW Parliament through her appointment to the NSW Youth Advisory Council. Beyond this, Hafsa volunteers as a robotics coach, mentors younger students, serves her community through charity work, and has raised more than $1600 for orphans. Her dedication, generosity and vision are an inspiration and a credit to our community. I recently had the pleasure of meeting her at the NSW Women of the Year Awards and am so proud of this talented young woman!
